BIGGER AND BALDER!

Benefits of signing up early: you get to pick your number!

The Sarawak Children's Cancer Society (SCCS) is back with their second Go Bald campaign, and it's going to be held this MAY 16, 2010 at the Spring.

They're trying to make this year's event much bigger than the last, and they're really setting their sights a lot higher. Last year they shaved 113 heads (including 2 women, one of whom was our very own Georgette!), and this year they want to get 300 people some free haircuts.

Albert's representing Studio 23 again this year, and is looking to raise pledges to have his head shaved. Yes, his head already IS shaved, but he's growing it out! We promise!

To donate, please see Albert at the Studio or get in touch with us through this blog, our Facebook page (what? You mean you're not already a fan? You can become one with the Facebook box at the right of the screen!), or send us an email at studio23kuching@gmail.com

Oh, and if you want to donate more than RM500 at a go, please bring a cheque instead of cash, payable to the Sarawak Children's Cancer Society.

But in all honesty, the money is not the most important thing here. It does help lots, though.

Hair loss is one of the least physically harmful side effects of cancer treatment. But it's also potentially one of the most traumatic, especially for a child. A great way to help them in their fight against cancer, besides donating money, is to shave your head bald.

It's an awesome show of solidarity, and helps them to understand that losing their hair isn't so bad after all.

If you don't do anything else, come and get your head shaved. It's free, and it's for a good cause.
